Bubba's Seafood Restaurant and Crabhouse

Just a terrible meal, totally unexpected after reading all the good reviews. Worst oysters on the half shell I have ever seen. Small shrimp, boring salad, and lousy service. Do not believe the hype. This is just one more mediocre beach restaurant. Given the service sucked, a 15% tip was not an option, unless you typed it in. I dislike that and it was the perfect end to a bad meal...

One of the best seafood place I went in Virginia Beach. Me and my partner sat on the top roof in the back with a nice view. This past summer I couldn't be pleasant with the views I had in the whole overall experience I had with the food I highly recommend coming here but also they only take walk-ins no reservations needed.

Did not try the food. Service is indifferent. We went there at around 3 in the afternoon on Monday, and the restaurant had just a few tables, but we were sitting there for literally 15 minutes and were ignored by servers. Ended up walking out of the restaurant. They should put the sign up that they are not accept Asian.WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

The food was horrible! How can you possibly mess shrimp up? Crab cakes definitely not to be excited about. $70 later…true disappointment! On a positive note, the fries, baked potato, and the view was good. However, definitely Get Somebody Else to Do It! I just got catfished and I’m not talking about seafood!!!

We went early, on purpose. We had a window. We wanted to look onto the water. It wasn't crowded & the food was good.

It was a great place to catch the sunset, good drinks, I got the Tito's Mule, good Crab Cakes, and had a piece of homemade key lime pie before I got on my plane ride home. Just 20 mins from ORF.

Will absolutely be coming back again next time we visit the area. The mushrooms and crab cakes were fantastic, and the atmosphere here is so nice. Thanks so much to Alex for his great service this evening!!
