Great service and their Brut Cider was amazing.

This is a few miles past Devil’s Backbone and it was the prettiest part of our drive. Service was friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed our drinks in outside area with plenty of seating. And who doesn’t love a cool old barn tasting room?! We left with cider, fresh apple butter and apple butter BBQ sauce.

Cider’s been a new thing for my better half and me since moving to Central VA. We’ve driven by Bryant’s a host of times. On Saturday, I made a solo journey out because my honey had a book club gathering. Glad I did. There was music, but best of all, I got to try my first dry Virginia cider. It’s way less sweet than some of the “bigger” cideries in the area. But dry doesn’t mean, less viable. In fact, I really dug the dryness, plus there were a couple of sweeter varieties. The Apple Pie was enjoyable with about half the sugar of the sweet ciders that many seem to like. I do not. I enjoyed their Dark Unicorn, which is bourbon barrel-aged and really enjoyable. Oh, the Punkin Spice was a nice fall variety. The rustic barn setting of the tasting room makes for a more comfortable setting when the weather’s cold and outside just won’t work. Great staff that makes you feel welcome on your first visit. Will definitely be back.

If you’re a Bold Rock fan this might not be for you! Definitely on the drier side

Not sure how often they have a BBQ vendor set up outside, but it was the best BBQ of my life. Great service and friendly staff! Happy to support this lovely small business. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids running around and playing in the grass

We aren’t hard cider people but this place has a great atmospher The manager was friendly, gave great service, very personable. Very dog friendly. I would recommend this place to try or if you like hard cider.
