UNDESTAFFED PLACE, even tough, Mark did a great job running the Bar and food by himself
Just left and I really enjoy the food especially the boneless wings. Their server Denise is awesome! She will put a smile on your face no matter what kind of mood you're in.
My main complaint is the size of the Philly Cheese Steak. It tastes great but the size for the money is not good. Should be bigger for what you pay. My other favorite place for a Philly Cheese Steak is almost double the size. I normally don't eat at Bru's alot I went to meet friends to watch a game.
Long prep time and small portions.
Everytime I order from here, there is something wrong. I really liked the Jambalaya so I ordered it again another time. It looked like it was a completely dish. There was no sauce, no sausage. This time they charged me for my soup but didn’t give it to me. The face that you can’t order by phone and have to do it online is inconvenient also. I just looked at the rest of these review and I know where the bad service comes from. The owner made excuses every time instead of trying to fix it.
If you ever order to-go and they mess up your order, make sure to take a picture of your food before eating for proof! They forgot the bacon on my burger and wouldn’t refund me the $2 for the bacon because I didn’t have proof!
Gave this place 3 shots and they failed to impress all 3 times so likely won't be back anytime soon. Which sucks because we live right down the street and really wanted to like it here. Food has been just okay. They always seem to be out of something at the bar. The people working there have not been pleasant. And if you want to sit at the outside bar and you're not a chain-smoker, forget about it. They also seem to be severely under staffed - which is likely why the people that do work there are disgruntled. Sad part is, some employees were running around crazy and others were chatting away, on their phones, etc. Could be a great place with new/more staff - well inside anyways...outside would still suck if you're not a smoker. I've got nothing against establishments allowing smokers in their outside sections, but there should be concessions made to accommodate everyone.
