Almond croissant here is fantastic!! Congrats on the best croissant award. Well deserved!

We came with high expectations because it’s known as an award winning bakery. However the crossant was not crispy and crunchy for me. The pain au chocolat was better. Still, i t’s a decent bakery in the neighborhood.

The almond chocolate croissant was incroyable. And the baguette amazing!

Good stuff

This is hands down my favorite bakery in NYC. These recent one star reviews are clearly fake, bots, and/or a pathetic person(s) with a vendetta, which is really sad. Everyone who works there is always very friendly. They consistently make the best croissants, sourdough loafs, etc. and I think their baguette is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. I almost wish I hadn’t tried their puff brioche loaf, because I crave it constantly and am already too fat. Thank you, Brooklyn French Bakers.

Une bonne boulangerie française implantée à Brooklyn, avec de vrais boulangers français. Je recommande aux amateurs de bon pain et de bonnes viennoiseries. Rapport qualité/prix correct pour NYC, personnel sympathique.

Fool me once one, shame on me. Fool me twice.... I can't tell you how many times I've shown up and they have no bread. It's a bakery! That and the fact that they open late (9am on weekends).....I'm done with this place. A shame, because the baguettes are excellent

Outstanding bakery items. My new favorite in the Red Hook area. Not cheap, but worth it.
