I ordered lean brisket. The servings are very small, and my brisket had fat woven all throught the meat - the brisket used there is of very low quality. There were illegal alieans begging for food/money outside the business - they had kids begging as well.
This is my favorite bbq restaurant in town. The meats are always tender and flavorful, no sauce necessary. But their sauces are really good, too. Their turkey breast is a revelation. I know what you're thinking: Ugh, turkey is so boring. Just trust me and try it. Their jalapeño cheddar tots are like crack. They're not very spicy, but amazing flavor. I would eat them until I couldn't fit out the door anymore. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are available. All the meats are gluten free. My mom who is Celiac can eat here with no reaction.
Best BBQ in Colorado Springs.
Good BBQ but it’s always empty, the gal at the counter was the least friendly person I’ve met in years, and it’s way over priced.
Broken Bones is my go to for BBQ catering when I host a western themed Murder Mystery. It never disappoints a large crowd.
We were greeted very warmly when we came in and made to feel like regulars. The food was delicious and melt in your mouth.
Overall good BBQ. They have five choices of sauce, so you can go crazy with options if you like. I've tried the pulled pork and pulled chicken. I do happen to think the chicken tastes better than the pork though. Customer service was good and the inside of the restaurant was clean. I would definitely recommend if you're in the area. Vegetarian options: You're kidding right? Parking: Parking it right out front Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly
