Great quality food and fantastic service and atmosphere. We sat outside and had a lovely view of the water. You can hear the sea lions too! I recommend the Big Bad Wolf bowl.. the eggs are steamed and super fluffy love that it isnt oily! The potatoes are flavored perfectly underneath all the amazing protein. Sauce on the side is fantastic bc I am very much a dipper! The Coast Toast is a must! Now this is the best I french toast I have ever had! Perfect texture and great side of in house made berry jam.. not too sweet, just the right amount of tang to it to offset the sweetness of the syrup. Also got the Crab Eggs Benedict, eat that fast so you don't miss out on the crisp texture of the crab cake, we waited too long to eat it so it got a little soggy. Good flavor though! I already made reservations to come back before we head back home. Highly recommend making a reservation and coming early to avoid the crowds (you can also get a pick of where you want to sit outside). Thank you for a lovely experience!

We came here for the first time for San Diego restaurant week on a rainy night after dark. The interior is in a quaint historic house with some fun decor. Only downside was the really loud table of people nearby the made our impossible for us to communicate without shouting. Not the restaurants fault but the acoustics of the room didn't help. The food was stellar with very fresh ingredients. I had an apple pecan salad that was top shelf. Then my entree was a linguini plate with sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, feta and olive tempenade. It was my favorite part of the meal and also had protein options though I was splitting the salmon plate with my wife so I didn't add any and it stood up on its own. The salmon and couscous was good quality and cooked well but nothing better than what I'd expect from most decent restaurants. I tried both the chipotle bread pudding and the dessert toast. Both were fantastic. The pudding was more interesting and complex but the toast with the ice cream was toasted brioche and was perfect in its simplicity. On their regular menu they have a lot of toast varieties. Service was good. Overall it'd love to come back in the daylight so I can sit with the nice view of the cove and the seals. Vegetarian options: I could have eaten vegetarian if I'd skipped the salmon and been quite happy with my meal. But not vegetarian heavy.

We sat on the patio and it was as beautiful as usual. The menu changes frequently, and while this can be exciting for some, I found myself not really craving anything this time yet seeing higher and higher prices unfortunately. Still, the staff were friendly and the location was excellent, and despite not really liking my dish, I'm sure I'll be come back here again.

Better to reserve a spot because this place is so popular! And the food was amazing. Lovely ocean view and friendly people too.

The food was very average. Just average. The setting is beautiful with a view of the ocean and the service is prompt.

Our waiter took good care of us and this place is a must visit if you are visiting san diego. I loved their banana fosters. I was amazed. I have never had such a different flavoured toast anywhere. Its very different from what regular brunch places serve Its located opposite to la jolla cove. The view is mermerizing. Vegetarian options: They have a couple of veg options as well
