Great neighborhood coffee house!
Coffee drink was way better today. Service was pretty fast but I didn't order food. If you're ordering food better to order online for pick up. Pastries are sometimes on the dry side. Sometimes key ingredients for sandwiches are missing. Bathroom is usually pretty clean.
Nice coffee shop. Staff are super friendly and the prices are cheap. My favorite coffee in all of Chicago so far.
I've gotten the iced white mocha with oat milk a few times now, and it's been great every time! My last visit I tried out one of their cakes (unsure about the name of it, but it is round, chocolatey looking and with peanut butter I think), and it was super yummy. Definitely coming back for another piece.
I truly enjoy supporting local coffee shops in Bridgeport, my hometown. This particular shop has been a part of the community for a long time, which is something I value. I've been a regular customer for a while because the coffee is decent. In today's economy, spending $6 on a cup of coffee is an indulgence, so I want to feel that my patronage is appreciated when I support local businesses. Unfortunately, on every single visit, the staff's demeanor has been unwelcoming, creating an unfriendly atmosphere. This isn't the first or second time I've felt this negative energy, and it honestly seems to affect the taste of the coffee itself. Despite my best efforts to be friendly and courteous, always smiling and saying "please" and "thank you," I haven't experienced any change. During my latest visit, the coffee and the vibes felt off again, so unfortunately, I'll have to find a warmer and more welcoming coffee shop for now
The manager here is one of the best personalities for the hospitality industry. Such a welcoming and friendly guy, I choose this place for morning coffees because I love getting my coffee from him.
Tasteful coffee. Could be 5 stars but they “can’t use your own cups because we use utensils to stir”. Just wash your utensils
