Bricolage

I am currently sat here and decided to write a review which I rarely do. There needs to be more people working. One girl served everyone so I won’t blame her. However, I was originally sat outside and was walked back there. I was given no menu. I had to come in a get one. Then the glass was foggy and dirty at the table I sat at. She also wasn’t warm but honestly, who would be if they had to wait the entire restaurant? Food was ok

The owner was lovely and the space is great. However I really did not like the food. The garlic noodles were overcooked (each strand was about an 2 inches long and kept breaking) and surprisingly bland given garlic noodles are a staple that’s hard to mess up. Maybe I came on a bad day? Honestly I think it was the least favorite dish I’ve ever had in NY. I know it’s not meant to be authentic because it’s French fusion but I thought it was just bad regardless. The eggplant salad was better, but also not great. On the plus, the servers and staff were great! Loved them! And the drinks looked good!

The shrimp claypot with fresh greens was delicious. The staff was kind and attentive. They made adjustments to the soft shell crab to accomodate friend’s allergies. Get the gimlet too!

We have been coming to this amazing restaurant for over 5 years. The staff, the food the ambiance have been amazing always. Kind, caring and simply attentive to every aspect. With my Gluten and Dairy allergy, Bricolage ALWAYS makes me feel at home. Dietary restrictions: Gluten and Dairy!

The food is amazing and mouthgasmic!. I had the fish sandwich on baguette, watercress salad. This place has 100% ingredients and is delicious. I recommend to anyone who want to have real vietnamese food! I will definitely be back to try more food.

Bricolage has been our family and friend go-to for special occasions. It is a magical place that is much more than a restaurant. The food and flavors are amazing. The owners and staff clearly deeply care about what they do. They are flexible, accommodating, not rushed and happy to help you pick out a terrific dining experience. The design of the interior and the simply incredible back garden immediately transport you to another place! It's a gem.
