The best cakes!! Great spot for brunch!

Love Brick Street. They have a great lunch menu, good service and fabulous desserts. Our favorite is the sweet potato cake.

The food was good, I had the Rachel and brought a piece of cake home

So sad...heard so many great things and was so looking forward to eating here!! But...ordered the shrimp and grits with sausage....only two pieces of great flavored sausage and 5 pieces of very chewy shrimp. No peppers, barely any onions. $16. Waiter too busy to even ask or notice I didn't eat it. However..the dessert!! Phenomenal! Just couldn't get passed the server and lack of interest when they cleared a full bowl they served me. And the lack of quality in my meal..very unfortunate. So disappointed. Don't think I will ever come back.

I go here for the cake. There's no better cake within a hundred mile radius. Sweet potato cake, coconut cake, I used to get the pineapple cake but they seemed to have abandoned the pineapple, bummer

I LOVE this place—it is home. The staff really treats you like family, and the interior is a very eccentric, colorful space that brings up so many liminal memories for some reason. It’s full of quirky traditions and local legends, like Mrs. Sue and the cake walk. It almost feels like you’re teleported back to a time when humans interacted with each other and we weren’t so obsessed with tech or money. And the food and cakes are exquisite. GO TODAY if you haven’t been!!!
