Bubbles & Brunch in Mobile, Alabama was a delightful discovery for my wife and me during our recent trip to the area. Formerly known as Brick and Spoon, this restaurant has a charming and eclectic atmosphere that immediately caught our attention. Waited 30 minutes for my order to be taken just to be told they didn’t have what I was wanting. Not the best way to spend an anniversary brunch

My husband & I frequent Brick & Spoon and had started to noticed a slight change in the quality of our food but nothing to bad. So we decided to go after church today. As we walked in the staff seemed visibly overwhelmed. Even our favorite server, who is always so lovely and upbeat. We sat down, put our order in, and waited for a little longer than usual, which was understandable because it was somewhat busy, not an issue. When our food came out our pancakes were burnt… not just over cooked but still edible, they were taste like char burnt (the bacon was also undercooked but it was still edible). I was a server in college so I am not a person to send food back, but nor do I want to pay for a meal that I am unable to eat. So I apologetically told our server that they were burnt, which she agreed, and in return was very apologetic herself (I felt bad for her). After waiting a bit, a woman, I assume whom worked in the kitchen, brought out another set of pancakes. I looked at them but before I could even say anything she looked at me and immediately said “ That is not burnt! ” which they absolutely were visibly burnt again, but at this point I didn’t say anything but ok thank you. I was just completely over the whole experience and ready to leave. I understand being understaffed or overwhelmed but regardless, you can not serve inedible food to a paying customer. Unfortunately, we will not be going back again.

The name has changed to bubbles and brunch. Food and service was very good. Didn't care for the hip hop videos on the tv. Probably won't be back.

BUSY I65 location is closed, everything is so delicious

I was underwhelmed by the blandness of the Creole Eggs. Seems like with all those ingredients it should have been a bit "more".

My brother, daughter, and I had a great time at Brick & Spoon. The ladies there are very nice and make you feel very welcome.
