Wings were excellent. Manager fantastic. Atmosphere terrific. Enough said.
Looked fun. Trivia questions. I was doing Door dash.
We happen to be in Franklinton on Thursday and stopped at BrewDog. Aaron was great. Before I remembered it was tasting Thursday he was bringing us samples. We had brisket tacos and Mac & cheese. The smaller bar was a nice change to the larger New Albany and DogTap. Great venue. We are planning to go back when the roof top opens.
As a long-term EFP shareholder in the UK, I'm excited to see BrewDog's expansion in the US. This was my first visit to a US BrewDog bar and was disappointed with most of it. The fist bartender I encountered was incredibly unfriendly - no smile, no welcome, she just stared at me until I ordered. She did this with others too so I didn't take it personally. After a shift change things improved but noone was especially friendly. The bar and toilets were grubby and needed a good clean. Parmesan fries were disgusting - they tasted like they'd been made days ago. I left 90% of them but staff didn't care enough to ask what the problem was.
My son loves this place, so we took him for his birthday. I am not an IPA drinker and they had few beers that were not IPAs.
