Great service, attentive and kind staff. If you eat meat, you absolutely must have the lamb, absolutely incredible. The sea bass was a highlight as well. The savory puff pastry and duck were good, but couldn't compete with the laaaamb.

Attentive and knowledgeable service, lovely inventive food. I love the French inflection of breakfast and lunch offerings, and was delightfully surprised by the Haitian-inspired dinner (on weekends only). The energy in this small, well-furnished place is mellow and warm. A favorite for visitors and to indulge ourselves.

Came as a last hurrah for my birthday weekend and was not disappointed! Chef Demetrius is my favorite Atlanta chef, so I knew it would be a delicious meal. I was greeted promptly and decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was so personalbe and engaging, and made wonderful drinks (try the Passion Fruit cocktail)! I already knew before I arrived that I would be ordering the wagyu burger and crispy potatoes. To my surprise, Chef himself came out and presented the plate to me while wishing me a happy birthday! It was probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. Melt in your mouth delicious with a bun that tasted like it was straight out of the oven. The potatoes were fresh, crispy, and salty-the perfect side dish. Afterwards, I had a tasty, homemade cookie to round out the meal. You deserve the care, intentionality, and amazing food found at Bread & Butterfly, so go get a table.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. When you walk in, you are immediately teleported to a Paris cafe/ restaurant greeted by the most welcoming and attentive staff. If you’re luck, the owner might be a the hostess stand ushering you inside to one of the tables or the stunning bar. Everything down to the dehydrated fruit dressings for the cocktails all the way down the plating and cutlery holders are executed with the highest level of intentionally and detail. I’ve only come for breakfast and brunch, but I’ve been told the dinner menu puts their amazing breakfast menu to shame. I only repeat eat at a place if I love the food and environment. I’ve been four times in four days! The menu is spectacular and a marriage of flavors, textures, and spices with a Haitian influence. I would highly recommend coming with someone and ordering family style so you can try as many dishes as possible. My favorite items: The pancake…yes the pancake (simple to make but easy to F up) with their fresh butter and syrup The quiche The eggs sandwich The seared tuna The shrimp and polenta Come to this place if you love finding hidden gems with amazing food and service from the staff that will have you booking your next reservation as you’re finishing your meal. Special shoutout to the owner, who is one of the most kind, attentive, vibrant, service oriented people you will meet. Kid-friendliness: You feel cared for and amongst friends. Everyone is wonderful.

I love this place. The music isn't too loud so you can still have a conversation without screaming and the atmosphere is so cozy and quaint for brunch. I went on a Sunday so there was a 20 minute wait which we didn't mind. Once seated, our waiter Liz was quite attentive and was patient as we had a hard time deciding what to order. We ended up with the salmon toast with a poached egg and the croissant sandwich. Both were great! The salmon toast was light and fresh and the croissant sandwich was perfection. The croissant was flakey and the cheese was cheesing. I added the little salad on the side to it and it make it even better. I will definitely be back!
