food was good, but SERVICE was HORRIBLE, it needs to improve A LOT. The place wasn't ever that busy and they would barely come to our table to take orders, my friends and I got ignored a couple of times whenever we called the waiter. Our table took way too long to get food and drinks although we were there waaay before everyone else. Staff wasn't that friendly. Not sure if I would recommend it. Update The company got in touch with me asking about the situation, I sent an email explaining everything. Guess what? No answer from them. Usually I bring friends and family back with me when I have a good experience at brazilian restaurants...not this time. Not coming back, too pricey with a poor service.
Originally I was extremely excited to be able to try Brazilian style pizza in the DMV. We drove for an hour to Damascus from DC with a RESERVATION. When we arrived we had to wait over 15 minutes for our table outside in the cold because the lobby area is too small. Since we went for dinner and were seated very late we felt rushed since it was around closing time. Frankly that is their problem for not having our table ready. The pizza was nothing out of this world especially compared to real pizza in Brazil. One of the pizza we ordered had way to much cheese and not enough garlic. The only thing I would recommend in the Banana Sweet pizza.
It's a beautifully decorated, cozy restaurant and pizzeria. Not any pizzeria, though. Make sure you have time to enjoy GOURMET pizza. We got pizza Siciliana, which was nicely toasted at the bottom, and ingredients tasted nice and fresh. The gorgonzola cheese in it is the differential. I got a passion fruit Caipivinho, which is a variation of caipirinha. It was my very first time trying this drink and I really liked it! It comes in a huge Martini glass. We happened to get a trainee server who provided super friendly and seamless service. I'm sure we'll go back to try other pizzas. Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. There are blown up pictures of the owners family on the walls. It's definitely a family-friendly restaurant.
Comida muito boa e com variedades
Very nice place. They have the best Brazilian pizza. If you are trying it for the first time, I would advise eating the rodizio offered on Wednesdays. This way, you can try all the pizza flavors I choose your favorite one.
