Noah and Anna made for such an amazing experience. So warm and welcoming. Made sure each dish we had was paired with the right drink. Spent the time during busy service to chat. Will be back every time we're in Boston!!
Our server was PHENOMENAL! she suggested off menu items that were really good, such as the breakfast fried rice with maple sausage, a biscuit with a side of gravy (the gravy is incredible) and fries with bernaise sauce. The host was funny, and nice and overall it was just a really fun brunch. Parking: Street parking can be hard, but there is lots of parking across the street at the forest hills lot or it is easy to use public transit to get to the restaurant since it is located across the street from forest hills.
can someone tell me what type of dinosaur this is? taryn (waitress) had an amazing smelling perfume. ur awesome for that
Consistently on the best restaurants in Boston for funky vibes and a funkier menu.
Please, please just try the best fried chicken in city. I am begging you. Also they rule. The staff are phenomenal human beings who are treated well and paid accordingly, which just makes the whole experience more relaxed & enjoyable. The ingredients are real food (not mass-produced garbage), the flavors are intense, and the creativity is non-stop. Parking: Street parking here is always scarce & difficult (it's across a busy street from a major train station), but there is a parking lot in the back. Wheelchair accessibility: Both entrances are wheelchair accessible. It's often crowded, but staff are friendly & will help with moving any obstacles. Patio is generally better, but obviously weather dependent.
This place is amazing. If you have the opportunity you must go. Reservations are a must and do not go casually because you are going to be in for a treat. The menu is based on the idea that very little of anything when it comes to food should be waisted but here it does it with execute it at a level short of a miracle as everything is simple but a notch above sophisticated. Do not be put off by the non traditional menu, explore, it is all amazing. Including drinks. This is casual gastronomy, with a purpose and amazing execution. The drinks are also excellent, do venture through the cocktail line up you will be in for a discovery. Conveniently located across from the T.
Try the donut, even if you just go for cocktails. Trust me on this.
