Vegetarian options: I picked the Vegetarian Risotto and as soon as I tasted it I regretted. It was undercooked and the cheese was overwhelming to say the least. No taste, needed a bunch of salt and pepper to make something out of it. For 41$ (with taxes) it is not worth it.
Excellent food and service. Stephane was terrific, and we greatly enjoyed dinner.
Just enjoyed a dinner at the Brasserie Milton. The foie gras was plated beautifully and full of flavour, as was the Acadian salmon and orzo dish. On par with the food was the service, Laika was perfectly attentive and provided very professional service. The wine recommendation (Pas Sages- Riesling) was spot on and paired beautifully with the fish. Would recommend!
Christmas dinner when out of home town has superb.
Great spot in downtown Montreal for a business meal.
Dinner: Everything we had here was excellent, as was the service. We got the mushroom pizette, which was just right for two to share, and I got the French onion soup, which was superb. The Canadian Riesling and a Castaway were our drinks, and paired well with the food. Well, the wine did anyway. The Castaway was STRONG, with surprisingly subtle flavors and not too sweet. Will definitely stop here again before we leave just to get some more onion soup! Breakfast: we the pancakes with strawberry/cranberry and at our servers suggestion, I tried the eggs with salmon & cream cheese. Everything was excellent. Our server, Audrey Ann, was incredibly friendly and attentive. She made our morning.
Smart and inventive without being pretentious, a menu with something for foodies and kids alike, in a spacious, casual setting with a bit of character.
