Everything was great. The servers were very accommodating to our large crowd. The atmosphere was perfect for a Sunday afternoon brunch for my family. Mostly, the food was spectacular in taste and presentation. My sister is already planning her next visit.
The food was great and the service was also great.
A hidden gem on the west side. Yummy fusion comfort food is how I would describe this place. I've had roasted brussel sprouts and grilled cheese sandwiches here. They have delicious beet hummus and good strong cocktails that never disappoint. They even serve good burgers and other decadent dishes that a diverse group of dinners can all enjoy. Right off the beltline so you can walk all those scrumptious calories off afterward. I highly recommend having a trendy but casual lunch or dinner here.
The service was A+ from beginning to end. Management and staff are wonderful. It was my first visit but guaranteed it will not be my last.
I have been to Boxcar so many times and it’s always a pleasure as the staff and food are always top tier. I came in tonight with a friend for dinner close to closing like at 9:15pm and sat at the bar and was taken care of by the lovely bartender/waitress Nessie she was quick, friendly, efficient and courteous as she ask for drink orders and food orders. She was so amazing that we both gave full orders and she remembered it all without writing any of it down with a pen and pad, got both order completely right which is so hard to find these days at any establishment in Atlanta. Nessie was gracious to all the customer who came in at closing as she didn’t rush us or be rude as most restaurant staff can be close to closing. Grateful for her customer service as she did have a customer who came to bar two minutes before last call giving her a hard time and acting as if she didn’t want to service them as she took care of all of us that came in late tonight. Some people come in with bad energy and want to bring that to others but Nessie handled her self very well as she was professional with them as well still trying to be solution orientation but they ended up making a little scene and leaving. Thank you Nessie for being patient and understanding with us all.
