Bowlero Times Square

I had taken my team for an outing and quite frankly it was the best time they had in a while. We took our time and enjoyed the entire moment. The decor is simply amazing and the customer service is excellent. The price is reasonable given that it is located at the prime location. I haven’t tried their food so I am not sure about the price and quality. The parking is really hard to find so Subway is the way to go. I would highly recommend this place if you are around the area.

I am writing to share my disappointment with the party I had on 4/14. This is also a direct copy and paste from the email I sent on 4/14 that I have still yet to receive a response from. Firstly, when arriving, I was sent straight to the lanes without any bowling shoes. When asking about them, I was consistently told “If you have sneakers, you should be fine”. I paid per person for the rental shoes, so why am I paying when I never received them and told it is not even necessary? To mention, another party came to the lanes next to us and all were wearing rental shoes. Secondly, I had two people of the 10 I reserved not come. I was not expecting any refund, but was told a credit could be issued. As I paid $487 for the party, and while booking I was shown for the price under that $48 would be suffice per person. However, I was told by someone that the credit would only be $16. First off, the lady was very rude, her tone was implying as if $16 is nothing, her words “it is just $16” after inquiring the credit to be placed on food. Regardless of anything, it’s still $16 and it would help with anything. I felt very embarrassed as she stated this in front of my whole party. Also to note, I have not gotten the credit as I was told to contact another person for it and it would not count on site. Thirdly, we were placed in inadequate lanes, not only was our server not in the area for majority of the party, but lacked any of the Bowlero ambiance I hoped for. No music, lanes clearly wear unbalanced as our balls constantly leaned towards the left of the lane, resulting in massive amounts of gutter balls, no matter who bowled. The ambiance seemed to half come back when other parties came in our section, yet they seemed to have way more attention then we did. I ordered food and drinks from the kiosk, the only good thing to mention was the food came in a reasonable time. However, constantly, our drinks were no where to be found. I had to run around trying to find our drinks, I was always sent to different people to get them. I even ordered a water and waited 20-25 minutes to get a water bottle. A water bottle. To make matters worse, our birthday signs were cleared 15 minutes before our party was even over. They only came out for one minute to sing happy birthday. Are you serious??? Also to add, the cookie dough cake I paid for was terrible. It seemed to have baked but sat outside for a long amount of time. Our cookie dough was very cold and my guests were even scared of finishing it as they started to feel a little weasy. I will add a picture of it. The service here is ridiculous, this is not even a party, more so a bowling game at a regular bowling alley. This was not the party experience I wanted nor worth the price of almost $500. I am very displeased and would like a refund of AT LEAST the rental shoes that I paid for, as again, were not given at all. Will not bothering even trying to come here again.

Horrible experience. Don’t buy groupon since they will put you in wait list and will let you wait for 2 hours and then also no guarantee.

Very fun place, right in the middle of the city! Two floors of bowling + an arcade. Great spot for a birthday party or just a fun night out! Prices are reasonable and they serve drinks and food. Highly recommend!

In the middle of my child's birthday party, where I paid $700 for a few bites of fried junk food which was not replenished even once, this woman employee approached me and started harrassing me saying that she saw few adults eating, and according to the notes at the bottom of some printed page, adults were not allowed to eat. I pulled up my confirmation that she looked through over and over and couldn't find any such clause. Unsatisfied, she stormed off, only to return later with her majesty, The Mean Queen Julie. Julie and yet one more woman proceeded to coral me in front of everyone and resumed their racketeering. Again, we looked at my contract. Finally, instead of apologizing, Mean Queen Julie made an announcement that we get no more food, even though the FAQ on the website states "continuous replacement." The situation was very stressful and embarrassing. At the end of the affair, Mean Queen completely lost her cool and started beligirently screaming that she had already checked with her boss and there would be no repercussions to her. If Bowlero has any professional management, they will fire Julie on the spot. It's beyond unprofessional to speak to customers like that. If her boss is ok with such behaviour they should be fired as well. Fish rots from the head. Very disappointing experience.
