Bad customer service stealing money from the customer

Bowl!

I went with my friends and the manger was being unreasonable rude, even mumbled a racist comment under his breath. Using the excuse of having a black employee, doesn’t change that one is inherently racist. Not a single one of my friends and I ever going again!!!

The bowling alley is nice but they charge $25 for a 8 slice pizza and have no other food options. You’re not allowed to bring outside food that is ridiculous. The vending machines have nothing, They definitely need an upgrade!!

I cannot believe a place ran like this is successful in this day and age. I am compelled to share my utterly appalling experience where my friends and I were subjected to what can only be described as blatant racism from the owner. It pains me to recount the details of our visit, but I feel it's crucial to expose the shocking behavior we endured. From the moment we walked through the door, the atmosphere was hostile. The owner, whose name I regrettably did not catch, made it abundantly clear that we were not welcome. As we attempted to engage in basic conversation, it became painfully evident that our skin color was the sole reason for his hate. Based on the other reviews I expect him to reply with some made up story about why we deserved his racism but in short this place needs completely new management/ownership.

Utimately we have a video of how you were treating the adults we support and that will be shared publicly. If your review is 2 stars or below the owner takes it super personal and responds to every ounce of negativity. I have personally seen Gus, the owner, treat adults with disabilities in a terrible way. He berated our clients and told us we were not welcome at either of the two bowling alleys he owns. More importantly he insisted everyone in our group pay to bowl regardless of if they were actually bowling or not., He then got into a shouting match with several female staff and told us we would be sorry. His comments are outright retaliatory slander and I suggest you avoid doing business with such an obvious bigot. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just called to see how much was the prices for bowling and the customer service is so off the guy who answer the phones sound like he didn't even want to be there when he answer he was like bowling but he sound like he was tired and didn't like his job the greeting was not a 0..... Once I got there the customer service was good but them answering the telephone was not it but overall me and my family had fun so I'll give it a 3 phone call just have to be better when it comes to greeting

Gross and outdated place. It's impossible to find a good ball. Worst of all is it's cash only and there's NO ATM!!! What?!?

Honestly one of my favorite bowling alleys till this day. Had lots of fun the staff was super friendly. There’s a bar and even a pool table and the bowling games as well as rental shoes are SUPER affordable. Highly recommended

Went there on a Tuesday night. The place was empty. The guy with the black and brown dreads was beyond rude. Refused service when asked to speak up. Other guy no better. Guess he was scared of the other guy. Place empty they lost out on over $300 as we had 10 people and was gonna order food. Don’t go here I hate to say people should lose their job but good help is hard to find. Management needs to train better. No to Bowerland in the Bronx
