Great food and service. The steaks are massive so sharing is recommended. They will accommodate cutting it up for the group at the table. Great place to eat!

Bowdies is an upscale gem in our capital city! Three of us went there as a belated Christmas gift to indulge. We shared everything; two appetizers, one entree, three sides, and two desserts. To start we had the bone marrow and the duck ravioli. Both were good. The duck ravioli was mostly sauce though and hard to taste the duck. The marrow was a true experience and unusual treat. The 36oz tomahawk ribeye was cooked perfectly, seasoned simply, and cut table side to make sharing easy. The sides were all good but the standout was the button mushrooms - packed with flavor. The other sides were enjoyed were the chili broccolini and the au gratin potatoes. Lastly we had the carrot cake and a chocolate raspberry sphere for dessert. The carrot cake was a bit underwhelming but the sphere made up for it. The chocolate shell was hard to get into at first but the filling inside was decadent and balance nicely was pops of fresh raspberries. Overall I was pleased with my experience at Bowdies and I’ll be back for another special occasion.

A little on the cozy side, but the lady loves the steak. Happy wife, happy life. Couldn't seem to find any pictures, but our waiter was very friendly and helped me choose the right whiskey to go with my steak.

Spent my birthday evening at this beautiful restaurant in downtown Lansing. With Frank Sinatra overhead we enjoyed exceptional cocktails, warmed (grilled) ceaser salad, filet mignon with blue cheese, prepared beets and truffle fries. Oh, and a lovely dessert. All was wonderful.
