Bourbon House is our favorite restaurant when visiting New Orleans. The staff are amazing, from the hostesses, to the servers, back kitchen staff, bar tenders and managers. It’s the true spirit of New Orleans Hospitality scene. These folks will treat you better than family. The food…. I’m from Baton Rouge but live in Atlanta now. This is the authentic Louisiana cuisine. The roux in the gumbo is just right. It’s loaded with meat and shrimp. The raw oysters are light, and large! The crab claws are buttery and garlicy. The drinks are crafted, not rushed. Everything on the menu is delicious and reasonably priced. We had dinner there every night for three nights. Make reservations through Open Table and you will be treated like Royalty!!! Thank you guys, can’t wait to come back to visit.

This place has it all! Great food, great service, and a friendly, helpful staff. We have been here twice and have yet to find anything that we don't like. A must is the Filet of Beef served with mashed potatoes and andouile gravy. You won't be let down.

The service that we received was outstanding. The food was terrible. The filet of beef ordered MR was served MW. Our shrimp and grits came out with 3 shrimp and the pork shank was dryer than a crouton. So we had to ask for shrimp, didn’t eat the filet of overcooked beef. It was taken off the bill. So good job there.

Overall good experience. The steak was nothing special; we've had better. We sat at the bar. The man bartender with hair bun and grey beard acted like he didn't want to be there and we were an inconvenience. Can't remember the name, but the female bartender who took over was MUCH better and welcoming. She even removed the charge for a terrible drink made by the other guy and only charged up for the wine my wife actually drank. Recommendation, put some flavor on the steak. It wasn't bad, but the lack of flavor didn't warrant a $65 charge.

Always a great place for food, drinks and atmosphere. The bourbon list is very extensive. We always sit and chat with Perry as he shucks oysters.

Food and drink we mediocre at best. Service was terrible! Everything tasted like it came out of a store bought freezer section . If you are looking for authentic steer clear and spend your money elsewhere!!!

Great restaurant. A little disappointed with the somewhat limited menu given its billed as seafood. The reddish I did get with the harvest salad were great suggestions from our waiter. Very cool vibe and decor.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Charbroiled Oyster Were A Disaster. Very Over Cooked & Dry. Never Had Oyster Jerky Before! Terrible Server (Ivan C, With Red Dread Locks) At The Bar. Ask For Water 2 Times For My Wife, Never Got It. Never Asked How Everything Was. Tried For 10 min+ To Get Our Bill. Don't Eat At Bar. See Him At Bar-RUN! DONT EAT HERE PERIOD!
