Based on the reviews I thought the food would have been much better. Salad and dressing were good, the brisket tasted like it had been heated back up in the microwave. Service a bit slow though the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re in from out of town like we were.

Ribs were 5 star, the chicken fried steak was just okay. Next time I'll definitely try something different. My husband got the grilled salmon and absolutely loved it, so all in all the food was good. I really liked the atmosphere too. It was comfortable and inviting. The restaurant was clean. And it was so nice to not walk into a chain restaurant.

Shay Proctor has done a great job making this place into a wonderful venue. Our first couple of visits about 5 years ago were disappointing, but now we really enjoy the atmosphere, the food and the people. Keep up the good work Shay!

We returned to Bourbon Brothers Smokehouse after dining there last summer and had a outstanding experience with Ashley as our server for a large group of 15. Last night we completely lucked out and she was our server once again! Our dining experience was just as enjoyable as the first because Ashley goes above and beyond-making sure the food and service is top notch. The next time we are in town, we will definitely return to this eating spot BUT will specifically try to be seated in her station!
