I’m in town for a convention and looked for some pho with a good review. Found this place which was close to the hotel. I started to order via DoorDash but then just drove there and ordered in person. It wasn’t a long wait at all. There is also ample parking in the lot in the center. The staff was friendly and prepared the order quickly. I got the phò ga medium size. The taste was ok and the chicken pieces were a decent size. Some of the pieces were slightly overcooked. The add-ins were bagged separately. They were ok but the basil leaves were wilted and limp. I also got the spring rolls which tasted fine. I got the Vietnamese coffee which also tasted good. I would get another meal here next time I’m in town.
One of the worst beef rice plates I've ever had. The beef was cheap and tough and I even tried it 2 different times with hopes it was just a bad day. I even tried it once at the boulder location before the Longmont location opened and it was exactly the same for better or worse. It's really depressing just how bad the viet food is out here and boulder pho is not helping. I think every viet place out here is bad but I am from California so maybe it's not fair. The wifey is actually viet and likes their banh mi and bun bo hue. Though, we go to random viet places in California and it's better than every viet place we've tried in Longmont or Boulder. You really have to go all the way to Denver to get anything decent out here.
We have been making our way through all of the local Vietnamese restaurants trying to find the best pho and banh mi and we finally decided to try this place for dinner delivery. The food arrived hot and well-packaged for the most part, though the fresh basil and bean sprouts were packaged with the hot food and as such, were wilted. The pho broth was above average though a tiny bit sweeter than we typically prefer. The banh mi was tasty but very small (maybe 2/3 the typical size?). The pho meat (rare steak, brisket, tendon) all tasted great and were served in decent portions. All in all, we found the meal a little above the average for Boulder Vietnamese food in terms of quality vs. price. We will visit in person next time to check out the vibe.
Seat yourself, we did….the place was t busy, but yet it took almost 15 minutes just to get water. Then another 15 to even attempt to see if “we were ready to order” My daughter ordered the chicken fried rice, my husband got the combination vermicelli noodle bowl, and I got a combo pho. The chicken friend rice was disgusting. It was fried chicken theigh with no flavor, and the most plain rice with peas and carrots. Definitely not fried rice. Especially for 17$! My husbands bowl was so bland and just plain. My pho broth was SO sweet. We eat a lot of pho. Like ALOT! And this was one of the worst pho restaurants I have ever eaten at. Service was horrible. The server forgot to bring all the things we asked for nicely, (limes because they gave me one tiny slice, 2 leafs of basil, and barely any sauce for my husbands noodle bowl. Plus the water was horrible. It tasted like chlorine. It was just a bad experience. And definitely not worth the price. Go get some authentic Pho elsewhere. I hate to leave these reviews, but food is expensive and when you go out to take your family to get lunch after a long day of softball, you just want to get what you pay for. So I’d love to spare a family a not so great experience, leaving hungry when you leave.
Best pho I’ve found in Boulder!!!!
Do not order on Ubereats unless you like to be hungry! Paid for priority delivery but they were only done preparing the order 35 minutes after the estimated arrival!
Hands down my favorite Vietnamese spot in town. Kyle and the team of servers at the restaurant are attentive and have consistently given me top tier service. I love their pho and iced coffee. Thank you guys!
