Boudin SF

The food is always yummy and the service is always quick. The people there are so nice, especially Jennifer. She gave us the best experience we won’t forget. I also highly recommend the Brie Apple sandwich if you have a sweet tooth.

It has great choices. Be wary of the raisin bread or multigrain by the entrance. It molds quickly. Go early for more choices, after a certain point they run out of bread baked at the store. This is the only Boudin SF in San Diego County, they are also in LA or SF. Vegetarian options: Salad is great.

Great food but dirty tables!

I like to bring my book club here and they always treat us well. The location is good, central, with plenty of free easy parking. Its not usually too busy and we can arrange the tables for at least a group of 12. The staff is always accommodating and usually helps put everything back at the end of the night. A few of the staff members remember us and check on us throughout the night, sometimes bringing over a loaf of bread at the end of the night. The service is really good, and the staff always nice, even when its busy. Sometimes the line a little long mostly because people take too long figuring out what they want and there's usually only one cashier. They can get overwhelmed, but our order is rarely wrong or takes too long. I like that you can order ahead and pick up. Counter service/fast food casual is always easier with a big group. The food consistently good, not fantastic or super special, and the menu has updates to keep things from getting boring. It can get a bit pricey for what it is, but they do have combos. Don't forget your free bread and birthday reward when you join the loyalty club. The atmosphere is good, not too busy or loud, but sometimes the music gets very loud and not all the staff is willing to turn it down. Overall, a great choice for a good meal, great service and nice location.

I had the clam chowder and the Dungeness melt. I was expecting the melt to be a bit bigger. And the clam chowder looked like they used heavy cream and threw in the veg and clams. When I’ve had clam chowder it’s supposed to be thick and not watery.

Really good sourdough loaves and baguettes!
