I thought the universal bathroom was so cool, such a simple yet innovated touch. The food was excellent the atmosphere was serene and I wouldn't mind going back for sure, it was enjoyable to say at the least.
We went there last week. Totally exceeded expectations as this restaurant serves real Italian fare that will satisfy all that love Italian food and atmosphere. I have lived in Italy, Boston and Providence enjoying many fine Italian-American and Italian dishes. This restaurant has it covered on all fronts. The dishes are perfectly prepared, the portions are ample but not overloaded with pasta (one of my pet peeves). The offerings are well balanced between southern and northern dishes and the chef cares and listens to his guests and will go out of his way to please your palate and to make your dining experience enjoyable. He even offered to make my favorites even if not on the menu ( I can never find a restaurant that serves risotto Milanese or real polenta dishes ). For chef Alessandro - no problem. Just call or e-mail ahead. How much more hospitable can you be? Other things that impressed me: an nice Barbera for a house wine, a real Italian espresso done the real Italian way and of course the service; friendly, attentive but not overbearing - shout out to Stephanie. Altogether, an excellent Italian dining experience. Finally, the restaurant is reasonably priced and a great place to bring loved ones and friends. Buon Appetito.
This is a lovely restaurant with great service and delicious Italian food. The portions are more than adequate, and nicely arranged. The only improvement that I can suggest is that of a more professional dress code for the wait staff. Vegetarian options: There were definitely vegetarian selections on the menu, not just salads.
Beet salad was good. The chicken was dry and not tender at all. Prefer veal but not on the breakfast/lunch menu. The order was delivered wrong and the wine too late. For this price I expect more. Sorry, I liked the visit a week before and Iike the restaurants atmosphere, but can't rate it higher at the moment.
The setting is wonderful, especially the garden outside, but for the prices they offer, I expected something much more. We ordered a non-alcoholic mojito and a white peach cocktail, both of which were tasteless and unsweetened. We asked for extra sweet, but the waitress didn't bring it. a portion with 3 shrimps, pasta with eggplant, they took my portion to fix it and I had to wait 15 minutes, the sauce was tasteless, the pasta was undercooked, I had to ask for the bill several times until they brought it to me, it's not worth it
Loud. Service was slow. Food was brought out like warm. First time eating there and was disappointed. My wife couldn't get a drink refill from the waiter. Lots of people standing around.
I’ve always loved Italian food and this spot represents it well. Upon entering you’re greeted by a hostess and a visual display of a beautiful designed marquee bearing the restaurant’s name. As I was escorted to my table, I saw how open and well configured the restaurant was and the vibrant color combinations utilized offering a fresh and spring type atmosphere. Outdoor seating is also available and has ample room to accommodate large groups. The dishes are similar to what you might find at a typical Italian eatery. I would definitely recommend the Oysters on the Half Shell, Meat Balls, Meat & Cheese Board and the Caesar salad. Although, the oysters had good flavor and were fresh they were much smaller than I had anticipated. Overall, my dining experience was good and I would definitely go back.
We have a tradition of coming here to meet one of our dear friends. Besides of always great atmosphere now there is amazing live Italian music once in a while❤️
We brought our family here for Easter brunch. Excellent food and bev. The antipasto plate is a must try. Sister loved the bottomless Aperol Spritz option. Our elderly father can be a lot to handle, and James (our stellar waiter) dealt with him in a true gentleman fashion. 10/10 on memorable service. We are excited to come try their Monday night prix fixe for date night soon.
