This is a DTLA staple, solid food, excellent customer service and an overall relaxed dining experience. I ordered their branzino, roasted broccolini, and Brussels sprouts with walnuts. The branzino was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. It was the best branzino I’ve had so far as compared to other spots here in dtla. The broccolini was delicious, a simple dish that complimented the entree. The Brussels sprouts were excellent especially with the walnuts and sweetness brought in by the bleu cheese bite. I sat the bar and the bartender was very knowledgeable about their menu items along with being very nice. I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items. Parking is very limited to street or local garages, lots. ***update*** Just tried the following : Permesan broccolini soup, calamari friti, Napoli pizza & tiramisu. The soup was descent but I wish there was a cup version. The flavor was great and little pieces of cheese, garlic were excellent. The calamari was delicious and the sauce was on point. Perfect crispness and flavor. The pizza had perfectly baked crust & the toppings were balanced just right. An excellent pizza that they offer and the tiramisu was probably the best I’ve had in a while.
The pastries and macaroons tasted yum... eye appleaing mirror cakes. Cappuccino was good too.
This place is beautiful inside and out. It’s expensive but with every dollar. The starting salad was great and the pizza and pasta were just sooo good. Their deserts are to die for too. I also love stopping by for their bakery. Their croissants are some of the best in LA!
Got me some Napoeon pastry. Num.
The wait staff are attentive and efficient. The food is good. The lack of any sound absorption makes the restaurant flattery and noisy when it’s busy. Overall, however, it’s a nice spot for lunch.
