Here I was considering giving Boston Market another chance on the upcoming holidays which are still a ways off but after reading some of these bad reviews that pretty much cinches my decision to do what I did the last time I called a few days before Thanksgiving to order a Turkey and was told we are very busy, can't help you. So what I did was shop at Walmart Deli and they had some very fresh baked Rotisserie Turkeys or Chickens. 2 other good places if Walmart is out is WinCo or Savemart. That will be my better choice again this year.
Seemed run down and limited side choices when I went, perhaps I caught them at closing? Food still tasted great. Parking: N/a Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
I Bought the $22 feeds four. The entire meal was not fresh. Food old. Chicken was old. Sides wasn’t fresh. Taste like it sat all day. My cornbread was very cold. Disappointed. I called to inform them the issue I was told I can bring the meal back to get another one. I informed her I do live on the other side of town. So she said she need to speak to her General Manager that was there. She said she was told I can hold the food and bring it back within a week. I then asked for her name and her general manager names. They knew that food was old. It was no cars when I arrived and I should’ve know something then. Two elderly people came after me. I seen only one Chicken, that’s the Chicken I was given. So I told her so you expect me to hold the food to bring back to you? I don’t even keep garbage that long in my house. Which the food will be moldy. She said let me speak to my General Manager. I said let me speak to her after she spoke to her and said can she throw the food out and just get a refund the General Manager said yes. But stated if I want to change meals I need to bring the food back. Smh. This derive was horrible. My meal came with a gallon of tea or lemonade. They didn’t have that so I was given 2 large drinks. But this was supposed to be a meal for four. Guess we supposed to share fountain drinks.
Food was very limited on choices and a bit cold. Lobby and bathrooms needed cleaning.
The good was good. But the store had broken heating tables and they were out of some items.
If I could give this place a 0 I would. My husband and I went there to eat lunch today and I knew when the place was empty I should have got back in my car and went somewhere else to eat but I wanted to taste the old Boston Market food that I remembered, but that wasn't the case. The food was horrible with a very brand taste. The food was worse than hospital food with no seasoning at ALL!!!! The mashed potatoes were stiff with canned gravy over them and the Mac and cheese was runny with no taste. I will NEVER go back there and I see why most of the Boston Markets have closed. If I would have dined in, instead of getting our food to go, I would have gotten a refund because that food was horrible and if I had a dog I would have not fed it to them....
