Great spot to enjoy a meal along the river. The food is good but it's not good enough for what it costs.

If I could give negative stars I would. The owner was rude. They said they allow dogs outside, but we were seated behind a screen and were harassed the whole time. Our 1 dog let out 1 bark and someone came around the outside of the place screaming at us. The owner then came out and took everything off our table and told us to get out. We only had an app and it was horrible. My husband asked for 2 beers and he was told no. I have been around the world and have never been treated so poorly. This place needs Gordon Ramsey to come in and fire the owner and straighten it out. DONT GO THERE EVER.

Slow service, food decent, overpriced.

I promise you this place has "ok" food, but, the owners are obnoxious. Rude to customers and their own staff. Seating is mainly outdoor, hence the fact they are seasonal. Don't dare bring children, they don't like kids at all. Very few spots to dock your boat, better call ahead to make sure you have a spot. And if your skin is a little darker, well they won't think you have money to spend because they are prejudice. A shame, this place could be so great if someone else bought it.

We were hesitant but ended up going and loved the food, service, view, and cold beers...Will be back. 5 stars for Port Clinton!

OMG. The food was amazingly delicious this will be our go to seafood place.

Absolutely horrible. Walked in, told to wait. We do. Then some lady comes out yelling at us to sit down, “I suggest you sit down. And you should not let the baby walk around either” - she’s one and a half. Needless to say we left since they can’t handle more than 2 tables at a time.

We stopped for a Sunday lunch. We opened the place and were seated immediately. Amy J. Was our server and did a fantastic job. She was very knowledgeable about all menu items and took excellent care of us. We had the walley dinner and it was perfect and one of the best walleye dishes I have had. The visit to Bootlegger's completed a perfect day for us. Parking: Parking was limited but the food is worth parking and walking for.
