A hidden gem in Henderson. Strip quality food, ambience & service without paying the premium. Cocktail menu is amazing as well. Highly highly recommend. Their happy hour is amazing too. Vegetarian options: A lot of their Italian style dishes can be made vegetarian
Always great, love the food love the staff and location and Avions
Always a delicious dining experience! We’ll be back soon!
After visiting Boom Bang Fine Foods and Cocktails, I have to say that my experience was pretty average. The food we had - tumbleweed cinnamon bread, veggie frittata, and Dutch oven pancakes - was decent, but nothing to write home about. It was pretty mediocre, lacking in flavor and presentation. The service and ambience were okay. The staff were friendly enough and our needs were met, but there wasn't anything particularly memorable about the service. The atmosphere was comfortable, but it didn't stand out either. Overall, it was just an okay dining experience. While I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying Boom Bang Fine Foods and Cocktails, I also wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it. If you happen to be in the area and looking for a place to eat, it's worth a try, but don't expect anything too special.
3 fish and chips and 1 sold dinner ordered. All were very tasty. I think the sole was a tad overcooked.
"Yo, whatcha doing?" asks a bunch of wide awake buds obviously on speaker phone."Sleeping. My game broke at 6am", I dazedly reply."Cool. We'll pick you up in five minutes", and disconnect.Note: This is a Sunday brunch review. The truffled scrambled egg tart is outstanding. Layers of flaky pastry topped with European style, rich, creamy, soft scrambled eggs, black truffle bits and topped with finely shaved parm. Be sure to add the 10g ossetra caviar (+ $35) for the ultimate decadence.Their take on lox and bagels, replaces the everything bagel with a great house baked everything hoagie. Enjoy it deconstructed. An outstanding cold smoked salmon pairs perfectly with the typical condiments to create one great plateThe "Boom Bang Monte Cristo", delish. A breakfast sandwich made from puff pastry filled with scrambled eggs and cheddar served with maple syrup and preserves for dipping / slathering. Sweet and savory mix that just works. Finally, the tuna tartare. Chunks of tuna dressed in a whisky barrel aged soy. Mix it up with the accompanying fresh avocado and spread on toasted baguettes, impressive. Earthy flavor from the whisky barrel brings out sweet oceanic flavors from the tuna.Add in a dozen oysters, charchuterie board, a couple of outstanding house baked, chewy on the inside, crisp on the outside baguettes with butter and jam, a few bottles for mimosas (buy the bottle, they provide the juices) and a right proper brunch.Service is off Strip friendly. Relaxed but efficient.A brunch so satisfying it clears the lack of sleep fog and readies the mind and spirit.
3 of us dined here last night. I ordered the Sole, my friend had the carbonara and my other friend the fish & chips. When my plate came out, I was a bit surprised at the size of the sole. On their menu it’s advertised at $59 (I was charged $65 on my bill), it was a entire fish and it was small, and it was served sitting in about a quarter inch of melted butter. Now I like butter as much as the next person, but this grossed me out. I ended up taking it off this plate and putting on another plate. In just a short period of time the entire plate of melted butter had hardened (as saturated fats do), and it grossed me out even more. Thinking about that in my arteries. It was served with a cup sized portion (as if I was getting a cup of soup) of puréed potatoes. This was $65? My friend said the french fries were the better part of her fish & chips because the batter was overly peppered. The appetizer bread was very doughy, almost raw tasting. I had only been here once before for brunch and it was just okay, after our dinner experience I won’t be coming back. Sorry, hard pass for me.
A great neighborhood dining spot for delicious food, great service, and an inviting ambiance.
Amazing all the way around. Our new favorite
1st time, nice room, delicious food and friendly, engaging staff- a lot of fun. Freshly baked pastries...yum on that coffee roll. Would definitely go back!
