Lugar agradable tiene café Valdez y muy buenas pastitas y sandwichs. Una tienda llena de libros y regalos. Además hablan inglés y español
Terrible service... limited selection and rude employees. Save your money. We bought several books, including one that was marked on sale but the cashier said she didnt know anything about it and refused to sell it for the marked price... it had their store sticker on it! Crazy!
The empanada ham and cheese really bad, so hard like a rock. Good cappuccino.
The service was awful. The workers carried on a conversation in front of me at the register until I walked away. My wife and I eventually pirchased tea and coffee. My wife asked for more water and the cashier charged mkney for more water. Another tea bag wad just a dollar more, so I asked for a fresh tea bag. With alot of attitude the cashier added the price of tea plus an additional charge for water.
I'm looking for a great place to go work on my computer and I really wish places inside the airport wouldn't even show in my Google maps searches. I thought cool this place is open 24hrs, then saw its location. It's not easy to access these locations unless traveling which I'm not atm. Google needs to fix these with some type note within the name and address so no one actually drives out of their way. Thankfully I knew better.
My review today Mar 29, 2023 at approximately 0755 is specifically about the girl behind the counter. My receipt says Jasmine. I was waiting at counter while she was cleaning. Mopping and wiping down counters where the cream and napkins are. Eventually she comes behind the register and since I will be ordering 2 tequeños (pastry) i asked her to please wash her hands. She did and then took my order. Her attitude changed completely and she was slamming oven door etc. at end of transaction she doesn’t say a word to me and takes receipt and crumbled it. I said I wanted my receipt. She literally paused, stared straight at me and gave me a mean look and then reprinted it . I then told her (in Spanish) you didn't like that i told you to wash your hands, but you were cleaning. I then said its obvious you didn’t like it because you seem annoyed. She then said can I just move on and pointed to next customer. It is obvious that she took it very personal. Instead of just understanding that she was just cleaning and im sure the health department would highly recommend that all employees wash their hands before handling customers food! Especially after cleaning! She should of just done it automatically without me having to tell her to please wash her hands. A professional would of just apologized and acknowledged on their own that since they were just cleaning they definitely should wash their hands. I have frequented this shop often and usually all employees are wearing gloves and are very friendly and polite. Perhaps Jasmine was having a bad day and or not happy about having to clean and that she also tipped off counter a few Juan Valdez instant coffee jars that fell on floor and broke, but having an attitude and slamming counter and oven doors and then giving me a mean look when she crumbled my receipt is totally unacceptable! She definitely needs to be addressed! Or she needs to work behind the scenes away from customers . Versailles is close by and I also do shop there. This experience will make me think twice before shopping at Booklink cafe to avoid this unprofessional unpleasant rude employee.
