Thai & Sushi offers a delightful fusion of Thai and Japanese cuisine. During my visit, I indulged in their shrimp tempura roll, California roll, chicken teriyaki, and Thai donuts: Shrimp Tempura Roll: Spectacular! Crispy tempura shrimp, creamy avocado, and refreshing cucumber blend perfectly. Each bite is a harmony of textures and flavors, enhanced by tangy soy sauce and wasabi. California Roll: A classic done right. Fresh imitation crab, creamy avocado, and crisp cucumber create a perfect balance of flavors. Toasted sesame seeds add a subtle nuttiness, elevating this timeless dish. Chicken Teriyaki: Though not sushi, the chicken teriyaki deserves praise. Tender grilled chicken glazed in luscious teriyaki sauce, served with stir-fried veggies and fluffy rice. Each bite is a savory delight. Thai Donuts: Ending on a sweet note, the Thai donuts are a must-try. These fluffy, golden treats are dusted with powdered sugar and served with a side of sweetened condensed milk for dipping. The combination of crispy exterior and soft, pillowy interior is irresistible, making it the perfect conclusion to a memorable meal. In summary, Bonsai Thai & Sushi delivers an unforgettable dining experience with impeccable quality, inventive flavors, and attentive service. Tan our server was great! When we arrived she set our expectations about wait time clearly as we were a walk in on Valentine’s Day, and let us know about the limited menu as they had been closed, then proceeded to exceed our expectations across the board. Food was excellent. I definitely recommend the Bonsai Creation Roll! Only ding on the atmosphere is that the walls are currently bare (probably related to the reason they were closed for a couple of weeks) so it made the restaurant a lot louder than expected, which made it difficult to hear each other.
PERMANENTLY CLOSED? Went by tonight, Saturday night, to have dinner and the restaurant was closed. There is no sign on the door but it was all dark and empty inside. The tables are still there but there was nobody inside around 7:00 p.m. Looked at the reviews and apparently people have been posting since 4 weeks ago that it is closed. I hope they are not permanently closed as the one on Miller closed down and this is the last one that was left and it was a good restaurant that always seemed to be busy.
