Actually a university dining hall...a bit disappointing for the atmosphere. They were also out of several ingredients for our meal.

Hard to find location. Watered down/Americanized Vietnamese food. Ingredients not quality. The place is now called SVK Food Hall now with 3 dining establishments using the same kitchen. Didn't realize Bonmi was one of the menus until we stepped inside. Got the Tofu Kickstarter. Was really craving some noodles. They were out and offered a quinoa replacement. Tofu was basic. Raw tofu, cubed and drizzled with some “Asian sesame” sauce. Instead of pickled daikon and carrots, they pickled red onions which were cut really thick. Tbh, while disappointed, everything was still tolerable until I kept finding pieces of rotted lettuce and greens in my bowl. I am sad that I spent $15 here.

This place is like the Chipotle for Vietnamese food. I love the food and the pork belly even more. The food is flavorful. It's right beside Fordham University but it usually isn't crowded when I am there. The staff are friendly and efficient. I have only gotten the bowls there and LOVE them but the banh mi looks good too. Update as of November 2021: I think that they must have changed management or cooks because the taste is no longer the same.
