Great food and desserts, amazing service
The girl who works in the evenings here is extremely rude and has zero customer service skills. The store closes at 8 and we walked in at 730 on a Saturday night. We noticed the chairs were on the tables, but another worker asked if we would like our food for "here or to go". We replied that we would eat there and assumed we could sit down. We proceeded to take down a chair to eat there and the girl working got an attitude and told us we can't take chairs down since they're closing in half an hour. I put the chairs back, caught very off guard by her rudeness. Then a man from the back walks out and pulls chairs down for me, my daughter and 2 friends. We sit down and a minute later this girl comes over to our table and says "I thought I was clear that you cant take the chairs down." I lost my appetite and can not believe someone like this works here. I see several reviews about this girl, so she must be allowed to get away with this behavior towards customers. Very disappointing and it makes me not want to return here again.
Love this place! Great sandwiches and the best cheesecake Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space in the dinning area.
Been going to this place for a while. I can't get there usually until 730 which is usually great until today. I showed up at 725 pm and the young girl working says that the kitchen was closed. I reminded her that they always usually closed at 8 and she told me no, and I was wrong. Very unsettling. Not sure I want to go back.
This place is one of my lunch rotation mains. Where else can you pick up a crispy chicken sandwich with mango and a slice of carrot cake to go? The sandwiches are solid. I recommend the crispy chicken sandwich and the muffulatas. I see people ordering their Cuban reubens frequently so they are probably good. The presentation of the cakes reminds me of a patisserie. It's just well done. The people running this place are very nice. They give my coworker a warm sendoff every time he leaves because he's a recognized regular.
Stopped here while staying in Columbia for the weekend. This bakery was the perfect little place. The employees were so nice and the Christmas music was a nice touch in a relaxing environment. We ordered a sample of things to try and share with friends. The coconut cheesecake was AhhhhMazing!! 10/10 The texture was so smooth and luscious, we enjoyed the cake on the bottom instead of a traditional crust. The flavors paired very well with a carmel latte and it was the perfect treat! We also really enjoyed the mini eclaires and cannolis you could tell these items were made in house, so fresh and the filling for both was excellent! The Macarons were a decent size and the baklava looked great. If you are in the area or even near this bakery, you must stop in and let your taste buds explode!
