Bongiorno's NY PIZZERIA

It's the closest Poway has to offer to New York style thin crust pizza (and I've had my fair share of pizza in NYC). The gelato looks amazing, but I haven't tried it yet; maybe come summer. Always clean and friendly; only wish they were open just a little later.

Pizza is always great, the garlic parm wings were so good. The beer selection is a little small, they could definitely add a few more choices. Service is amazing, our cashier and server was Mack, she is super sweet and helpful Kid-friendliness: They have desserts, Gelato for the kids, sodas of course. We brought a deck of cards and played cards at the table while we waited for our food. It's a pretty chill place.

Good atmosphere with some bangin pizza couldn’t ask for more

Staff is really nice. Pizza is not great. Not sure why everyone loves it. Too thin, floppy, too cheesy, not much flavor. And doesn’t even compare to real NY pizza. Fine place to go for family outing though.

Best pizza in Poway or maybe even in San Diego. The staff is nice, and the pizza is so good and their garlic knots are also really good. I would highly suggest going here if you are in the area.

This pizzeria is a great discovery!!! I ordered a thin mushroom pizza with the crust well toasted (this is how they eat pizzas in Rome - Italy, very toasted) and I was surprised!!!! While I ate that delicious pizza I remembered the pizzas I have eaten in Italy. This is impressive because in the USA the pizzas are weak and without the wood or oven flavor that a good pizza should have. Congratulations to the owners of this fabulous pizzeria!!!!
