I love this place, second time celebrating my birthday there, very loved by celebrities like Taylor Swift. Food is impeccably delicious, ambiance so so, very packed, music was weird and noisy. Service so so, these waiters are stone faced and overwhelmed. Don’t expect them song Happy Birthday either, and expect to pay very steep prices which I guess is expected. Omg all deserts are amazing literally bread pudding, Donnie’s, chocolate cake, panacotta omg

Was there this past weekend, February 3rd and have been thinking of how to write this review since the walk home after. What an amazing experience! If you want amazing high-end sushi and Japanese food DO NOT MISS BONDST! This was my first time to BONDST; and it turned into an experience I won’t soon forget. We walked in and the check-in area was filled with people. Between patrons at the bar for service and those waiting to be seated this place was lively! We got there a few minutes post reservation time and the staff were understanding and got us seated within minutes. We sat at two seats at the sushi counter nearest to the expo station. The server was helpful with suggestions and guiding us through how to choose a good assortment of dishes to get the full experience. Cocktails (a special old fashioned and others) were excellently crafted. The food started and from the first bite we were hooked! The Big Eye Tuna Tarts were perfect! We shared a number of other special appetizers and some sushi. All were served perfectly. Throughout the night our sushi chef delighted us with his attention and willingness to engage and educate us on the dishes we ordered and others we saw going out. With how busy the place was, we couldn’t help but comment how nice that made the experience. To cap off what was already an amazing meal, we ended up in a great discussion with none other than Executive Chef Marc Spitzer. We ended up having a nice chat about cooking techniques (soups vide in particular) and other local restaurants that have opened recently. So, yes, I have taken his advice and am waiting for my copy of “Under Pressure” and am excited to learn! Thank you to everyone at BONST for an amazing night. I can’t wait to go back!

Bond St never disappoints. Exceptional cuisine that surpasses Nobu.

Went here for my birthday one year and it was a darn near perfect experience. Can't wait to go back.
