Bonchon South San Francisco

I have been going here ever since it opened. It is a little pricey but so worth it. When you walk in the place is pretty big and clean. You are greeted right away upon walking in. This time around, we ordered online for pick up and ordered a few items we haven't tried. We ordered: 1. Bulgogi fries - I was surprised how good it was. I wasn't expecting much since they are known for their chicken. 2. Potstickers - Crunchy and soft in the middle. I love how they drizzle the sauce on top. 3. Popcorn shrimp - of course, the shrimp was not the biggest, but it was so addictive. Something about the batter being crunchy and chewy, once you eat one, you can't stop. 4. House fried rice (bulgogi) - very flavorful, but the rice was a little too sticky to my liking and a little too sweet. 5. Korean Fried Chicken with soy glaze - Alwaus got you smacking. It's so crunchy and not overly saucey. This goes great with the pickled radish. 6. Korean donuts - I don't know why, but I had high expectations. I was disappointed. It was just a regular sugar doughnut. I was expecting it to be chewier, like with rice flour. If you're thinking about it, don't bother. It's not worth the price. Overall, you can never go wrong with going here.

I'll be dreaming of the fried chicken until I can come back and eat it again. SO GOOD!! Everyone was so nice here, fast service.

I placed a to go order asked for Ketchup or hotsauce the person told me they didn't have either. Disappointed to hear a place serves chicken and fries does not have ketchup

Very nice and chill bonchon. The service was great and most of the food was amazing. The chicken combo and sliders were top tier but the fries… I mean bonchon fries are some of my favorite but this time it was bad. And by bad I mean horrible. They were like overdone but cold steak fries. Not the flaky crispy outside and soft inside, hot fries I know and love. They’re like fries you’d expect to get at Dennys. I’m not sure what happened but everything else was good. Popcorn shrimp wasn’t great but decent. I didn’t expect a lot to begin with. While disappointing, the server was cool and really friendly. I’d definitely go to another bonchon if you like the fries, I assume most people would.

Server careless throw dishes on the bin. Which splash the vinegar radish sauce on me!! Very poor service

Looking for a quick bite. Brochon is it. We ordered the Korea Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Fried Zucchini & Popcorn shrimp. The food was even better for next day lunch. Cozy place with a bar tvs to watch the game. Plenty of free parking and restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Oh! Also great customer service. I will be returning for more good food. Brochon does not accept cash. Have a credit card ready. Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of handicap parking spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is Handicapped accessible.
