Bonchon Navy Yard

Best Bonchon location hands down. Service is superb. Food was hot and delicious, staff were attentive but not annoying. I am a regular here and it's always on point.

I tried this place a couple times to give the benefit of the doubt. Both times were pretty much the same, sat at the bar, not even acknowledged, place an order using the QR code and done. No personal presences, and mediocre food. Buldak was flavorful but that was it - no veggies but with a side of American cheap rice. Second time around is to try the chicken wings with soy garlic were okay- about the same quality as Wingstop but twice the price. No sides so I get an order of the pork buns and again nothing great, it’s like a pork belly taco with some sesame oil and steamed bun dough cooked. This is a poor representation of true Korean cuisine and this place should be ashamed. Koreans are typically inviting and friendly with flavorful and bountiful food- this place is an uninviting dry location with an American greed mentality. In and out as quick as possible with as little effort and attention as possible. The only thing that maybe worth going for is the trivia night on Tuesday (if it’s still a thing).

Nifty liquor shop adjacent corner joint serving their world famous Korean chix wings in varying degrees of soy, ginger, garlic spiciness. From drum sticks, wings, sliders, chicken katsu, this place has got the fried chix market cornered. If that wasn’t enough, they also have your fav Korean staples for those wanting something besides chix, which is probably the most amazing thing besides what they already have. This is a place where you come for real food, fun vibes and good times.

Chicken is amazing

I've been for lunch and dinner. The food is very good here. I haven't even tried their special dishes with fried chicken. Plenty of other tasty choices on the menu. The portions are large. You will have plenty of leftovers. So, the prices seem fair. I've had Japchae, Fried Rice, Coleslaw, Onion Rings, and Zucchini fries. They were all delicious. The staff are helpful and nice. We were there one night during a trivia contest. It was a bit too loud for me and not enjoyable. But, other than that it's a solid choice.

The location is great. The spacious seating areas are semi private which makes for uncluttered experience
