Bonchon

I personally don’t know how this place even has four stars on google. Food was not good and the customer service was even worst. This place had a poor imitation of Korean fried chicken and do not deserve to call there less the mediocre wings bonchon. If you’re in the area save yourself some time and just choose brewings instead. To elaborate on the customer service, upon arrival we were told by a sign in the front to seat ourselves. Bar was full and about 5 tables were dining at the time. No hostess and no bartender. Just two waitresses. A table came in ten minutes after us and was attended to first before we were even approached with any menus. Then once our order was taken we were never checked upon again once the food was dropped. Other tables had to go flag down the waitress to pay their bill and it just did not appear this restaurant understood the concept of what standard customer service should be.

Solid meal here today, the service was on point, the young lady working the bar made some great suggestions. I will be back.

Every time I visit bonchon Katy, I always have a great experience. Food is very good, staff is friendly and the service is top notch.

Lovely staff! Wings were fine, no complaints. This review is about the bibimbap. The bibimbap is absolutely atrocious. Cheap trashy ingredients, plastic bowl, served lukewarm, not enough sauce. Not a hint of crispy flavor iconic of bibimbap (again, plastic bowl, but not unachievable with some strategically positioned wok hei if you really want to stick to the plastic). No chopsticks, but honestly wasn't worth the emotional investment of chopsticks for this dish. Haven't cried this hard and deeply since I tasted what PF Changs calls Mapo Tofu.
