This was my worst experience with Korean food. I've ordered from the BonChon in Manassas and from the location in Chantilly (when it was open), and I really loved it! I loved both the bone in and boneless chicken. Today's lunch was such a disappointment!! My food was completely cold (delivered thru GrubHub) and completely flavorless. That's not what I expected from any Korean food! I had great expectations for BonChon as they have set the standard for Korean chicken wings. My boneless wings today were terrible. They looked like the Banquet brand chicken tenders I could buy in the freezer section of any supermarket. They tasted like them, too! I can truly say I've never had such a disappointing meal of Korean food. Neither I nor anyone else in my party ate our lunch. So disappointing!
Foods fresh and delicious
Ordered online for pickup. Food was not ready as stated. Had to wait 15 additional minutes before food was ready. Staff member was nice but a young guy. Staff member checked the bag before giving me my food to go. Took the food to the office and realized that Bonchon forgot to include my kimchi that I ordered. I called back up to the restaurant to make it known and the young staff member answered. He didn't seem to care too much about forgetting to put my kimchi in the bag and he gave a half hearted "I'm sorry".
Have placed numerous orders here for delivery, and something always fails epically. Orders have been mixed up too many times, and not like it was anything one could overlook- we ordered soy garlic straps, got spicy bone-in wings; placed a large order of strips with fries, get some tiny order with rice. Worst of all- this location uses 3rd party delivery, so we end up having to call the restaurant and end up having to drive back these wrong orders and exchange for our own order...which is usually just sitting there getting cold. Parking at this location is very tight, which is why we risk using delivery. Tonight was the last straw- got a text message saying our order was canceled and that we needed to call the restaurant. Funny how the phone number doesn't work and goes to some "Cox voice-mail inbox" that wants you to put in a pin! Un-freakin' believable. Stop offering 3rd party delivery if 1- drivers can't be trusted to read receipts to ensure correct delivery, and 2- you can't guarantee customers are actually going to have their food delivered. Thanks for nothing Bon-chon, we'll be ordering take-out from elsewhere here on out.
Went with a large group no reservations about an hour before closing. One guy was working the entire room and everything was smooth. Very nice woman behind counter.
So we usually order from here and know the size of the wraps now. We decided to order two wraps from here and it seems like they made one and cut it in half and charged us for two... were paying almost $20 for each of these things and yet we get half a wrap... this is a bit ridiculous i expect to get a full wrap for that price.
