I got the chicken katsu served over rice with spicy mayo sauce, which tasted great. I don't usually eat a lot of spicy food, but the mayo wasn't too spicy and really made the cutlet stand out! My friend got the bulgogi and seasoned fries, which she enjoyed also. The price was reasonable, and the service was fine. Parking: One side of the building has only 30 minute parking, but we were able to find parking on the other side. The lot is shared with other businesses along the strip mall.
Kid-friendliness: Regular chicken and fries for picky toddlers. Happy atmosphere, staff didn't mind wiggly giggly toddlers.
Korean fried chicken was great . The pickled radishes was good.
Fantastic food... "Wallah" Fried rice.. wings were amazing... Soup was okay.. pics included.. the service was a bit disappointing though..
None of my party of 5 really liked their food (ordered from the main dishes), but this was us out trying something different, so I won’t call the food bad. We didn’t stay long. Food presentation was nice. Staff was cordial. I was going to tip but wasn’t expecting the mandatory gratuity of 18% like this is some kinda Michelin restaurant.
This is actually an update to previous review. I went back and Bonchon totally redeemed themselves. Had BBQ wings and seasoned fries of course. Absolutely delicious and I was totally satisfied. Hot crunchy juicy chicken. The sauce was perfect. I so enjoyed my dinner that I forgot to take a new photo. That's when you know you were focused on the meal. Thank you for making my 4th visit awesome. Previous experience….. What's the saying about 3rd time being the charm. Not here sorry to say. My first couple of times were on the weekend and I was really impressed. Korean Barbecue Chicken with side of Fried Rice and Seasoned Fries were amazing. Chicken was crunchy and most flavorful. Rice was good, even seasoned fries were crunchy and tasty. Third time was for lunch on a Thursday with coworkers. They were tired of hearing me bragging about this chicken. Well big mistake for myself and coworkers. Ordered online as usual, was there to pick it up. Had to call to let them know I was outside. This is a first. Normally they bring food right out. The lady who answered was basically like why are you calling. (1st red flag) Mind you this was a big order for 30 pcs. Guy finally brings out food. We get food and I noticed the smell of old cooking oil. (2nd red flag) Get back to work. The 3 of us dive in. Well chicken was not crunchy at all. In fact it seemed soft and soggy. Almost like left overs heated up in microwave. No Barbecue sauce flavor as ordered. (3rd red flag) We ate in silence. All I kept saying was wow. This is a total bust. Could it be because it's early and they just opened? Or was it because it's Thursday? Needless to say I was so disappointed. Not to mention my coworkers, feeling like they could have had something us. I ended up just paying for the meal. Gave them back their money. Third time turned into a total dud.
