Always polite and quick Parking: Haymarket
Really great experience. We were sugar satisfied. Service and food are really good. I recommend
Good but not great Good taste . And that’s it
Echoing other reviewers- the food was not good. Ordered the Singapore Style Noodle and it was barely warm - some of the veggie was even cold. Not good!!! Plus it was VERY salty - not sure it was a one-time thing or they tend to make their food salty. The cashier showed no emotion whatsoever - that was fine since there was no expectation to begin with.
I had a terrible experience with the food and staff at the Haymarket location. The noodles in my dish was room temperature to lukewarm; the veggies and chicken cold. Singaporean-Styled noodles, or 星洲炒米, is a classic rice noodle dish stir-fried in a wok with high heat, mixed with chicken and veggies. I’ve had this dish many times in the past (even in Asia) and have loved it. I asked the staff for a new order but they argued that “this dish was supposed to be cold”. So I asked if they could at least reheat it for me but they declined. Then, they proceed to complain to each other in front of me in Spanish, which was so disrespectful! At one point, they told me “no entiendo”, which means “I don’t understand” in Spanish - even though we were conversing in English with no issues minutes ago!! I had to ask a second time before my food was reheated in the microwave for 1 minute. So yes, I paid $14 for microwaved food. Was it worth it? No. I’d like to say though, I had other food at Bon Me that were good. The Singaporean-Styled noodles was either unauthentic or a one-off thing. Either way, I will not eat at the Haymarket location again.
The pho is extremely salty. The noodles and ingredients are good quality and texture though.
Pho was merely ok. Leave out the cabbage, it's not in pho! Tables are not cleaned. Bon Me staff hide the napkins so you can't clean the tables yourself.
Korean Style Sandwich: 7/10, I was expecting a banh mi style baguette, but it was just a regular wheat sub roll.
Fusion. Menu lacks innovation.
