Outstanding Pilsner, WORLD CLASS

First time here and had a great time. The outdoor setting is perfect for the weather and for social distancing. The beer was tasty, especially the hard pressed orange cream ale. The food was just out of this world. I had both the Brisket grilled cheese with tomato soup and the brisket cheesesteak and just..... damn......So good I had to take a moment to enjoy the memory. Definitely going to go back and organize some meetup events there.

I have been coming to the Bolt in La Mesa for several years now. I am drawn to the warm, friendly feel, the outdoor beer garden setting and their good selection of beers. I noticed a recent negative review regarding an apparent rude encounter with a Bolt staff member. While I do not know the specifics to the complaint of the reviewer, I can certainly vouch for the friendliness of the Bolt staff. In my personal experience, I have always been greeted in a very cordial manner every single visit from the barkeep or even the owner and I have always been treated like an valued customer. That is why I keep coming back.
