Such a hot spot!!!!! Vegetarian options: The tofu vegetarian bowl was so fresh, not greasy, variety of veges……..and I added some kimchi. DELICIOUS
The people are so nice and sweet and the food is really good came 3 times and haven't been disappointed (*^^*)
It was my first time here but I loved the demeanor and personalities of the people working here and the food was awesome and their fries are also top tier they also have really awesome events too.
I found this place for lunch from google, while we were going to Dumbo at Brooklyn. This place is not Korean food, not even similar. The food is close to chinese food. It is too salty and has too much soy sauce. If anyone looks for Korean food, I don't recommend it at all. I wondered someone who left a review with 5 stars. I am sorry for this review, but please don't use Seoul. It made a bad image of korean food. The service was great, but everybod doesn't even expect Korean food at this place.
very great food, relaxing place to eat with friends
Worst Korean food I’ve ever tried. I was in the food for Korean fried chicken and saw this place had rave reviews… I don’t know HOW people are giving this place such positive feedback, unless they’ve never had Korean food. The cucumber kimchi had this weird sauce - it wasn’t fermented as another reviewer noted. The chicken was most disappointing - we tried the “spicy gochujang” wings and they were barely spicy, but also lacked depth. The chicken is cut up into small pieces, which I would’ve appreciated if the sauce was well seasoned. Because the fries were so sweet, we ordered rice… tell me how they messed up the rice?! It was long grain, undercooked and tasted old. The space restaurant is in a shared space with a coffee shop (should’ve been a red flag) and has no vibe. Would be a good place to get work done, but not a spot to enjoy a meal.
Wow, I'm astounded by the 4.5 star reviews that led me to believe that this place might be good. This is some of the worst Korean food I've ever had and I have eaten it all over the world. I had the spicy pork and it tasted like someone had just doused cooked pork in a mediocre gochujang sauce. There were some nearly tasteless pickled onions, dry raw shredded carrots and some cucumber on the side. The rice was undercooked. I spent another 5 bucks on terrible cabbage kimchi which every Korean person should know how to make and you can buy already made if not. It was not fermented. It tasted like They blanched the cabbage and then drowned it again in gochujang. Miserable. I highly recommend kuun on Livingston as an alternative.
Really cool place and very kind owner.
