Fed up with this place. $10 is too much. They've made the cups smaller 25% smaller. They charge 50 cents more if you want them to hold the ice. Slow service, sold out of the best flavours. Pearls are slightly under cooked. Cups leak. Boketto is milking the River District neighbourhood for the highest price possible and providing no value. Parking: You can park underground and ride an elevator or keep circling the block until a street parking spot opens up.
Place is cute with digital menu boards. Problem is font is so small and rotates so it’s hard to read. Better off reading off the printed menu by the cashier. Got the milk tea soft serve with mochi and dalgona. Didn’t taste much tea flavour. Dalgona tasted off for me (stale, but not stale, can’t figure out exactly what), but my daughter thought was fine. You don’t get a lot of ice cream, but later my son pointed out that you get even less than you already think you get as the middle is hollow. Surprised to see someone else also posted this in a review too. You get quite a bit of mochi and dalgona. Hubby got hojicha frap. He said it was ok but not outstanding. Daughter got the hojicha gold drink. Was good but same as coco’s roasted pearl drink but smaller. Son got the other Carmel soft serve sundae. They have a rewards program, but won’t be going back.
Bought milk tea, tasteless, 2/3 cup filled with ice. Very expensive ice.
Came here for dessert and it was delicious! We got the soft serve and a strawberry matcha latte to share. We will be back to try their other soft serve flavours.
The matcha mochi cookie was so amazingly gooey and delicious. Pure genius. Also had the mango pomelo sago - very tasty!
Would love to of tried them a couple weeks back when I stopped by . They were closed in the middle of the day for a private event . So much for the hot chocolate festival for that location .
Went for their hot chocolate fest. A specialty drink which came with a mini waffle came to $12. It was okay but overpriced for mediocre hot chocolate. Note that there are only three tables inside. Save your money and hit up Kasama or Chez Christophe instead for the hot chocolate fest.
