Real good food with Trucker Parking

1st time driving through east Texas stopped in long view, best brisket, ribs pecan pie. We ate the special there which was a chopped beef sandwich and a side, mac and cheese , ordered another sliced beef to go, and a slab of ribs. Definitely a good meal.

You have to make sure you go to the right Bodacious in East Texas - The one in Kilgore off I-20 the White Oak exist is the best. Try the Smoked Boudain and Gumbo for those that like Louisiana flavor. And there smoked ribs and chopped beef will have you wanting more. They have the onions, jalapenos, and Pickles where you get as much as you want. And it's inexpensive. Plenty of seating and parking

What a pleasant place to eat. Simple yet so great and the employees were absolutely fantastic.

Brisket was very dry. Seemed well done and had no fat. I like fat and I like the meat juicy. The rub was nice. The sauce was kinda like little on the tangy side watery. I don't like sauce that's like ketchup this one was correct texture sauce but it was little too much vinegar. Bar b q sauce was good flavor just too much vinegar. Meat had wood smoke but.... Was over cooked and trimmed all the fat away. Brisket should be very tender and juicy Always.

1 rib was $5.00. It was so dry and plain Jane tasting. So expensive. Not so good.
