Bocconcino Mayfair

Truly an unsatisfactory experience. We are not hard to please or picky at all but this restaurant does not fulfill the expectations they raise. Waiter were completely ignorant for no apparent reason, food arrived before drinks and was mostly cold. Some received the wrong food and the ceasar salad simply wasn’t one.

We sat upstairs and the service was probably the worst I have ever experienced in an upscale restaurant in London. Starters arrive before drinks, no water available, no approachable waiters, and more. My food arrived literally cold (pizza). Others were unhappy about their food as well. We are not picky or hard to please. This was a total disappointment.

Terrible experience with the table. Booked one week in advance, asked for a nice table as anniversary. Walked in and again confirmed if we had a decent table. Was assured and made to wait in the bar area for 15 minutes even though arrived on time. Was shown to the table which was next to the service area. Another middle table was available, requested to move there. Was confirmed that table was available and were moved. As soon as we moved and settled and started our order, were suddenly confronted by a very stern lady requesting us to move back to original table. We were upset and moved back to our original table. Someone else came as told us this table was reserved by another party wondering why they moved us in the first place. Besides food not so great and ambiance mediocre. Never again!

Found the restaurant by chance. We were a party of 8(4 kids). They have a big menu, and whatever we choose tasted fantastic. We loved everything we tried. We will visit again. Kid-friendliness: Perfect child friendly menu. Kids had pasta and pizza and they loved it.

Their food, service & Atmosphere are splendid!!

赤い花がいっぱいにエントランスを飾っていて吸い込まれました。 予約なしでしたが、たまたますぐに席に案内されました。中は階下と奥にフロアがありとても広く、吹き抜けが豪華です。 スタッフは皆さんとても優しくて、日本人の私たちをリードしてくれました。 お食事はどれも美味しくて最高でした。 イタリア人の彼(スタッフ)が楽しく話しかけてくれて、最初は少し緊張していましたがすっかり楽しい夜になりました。 こちらでの夜は私たちのロンドンの旅の中でも大きな思い出になりました。ありがとう❤️
