Bocas Grill Brickell

This was my first time in Miami, and I don't do this often, but I ate here TWICE in a week. It was the best meal and service I had!

I love coming here! The food is amazing and always great. The drinks are also amazing!! Ask for Felix at the bar.

I started with a Pina Colada (exceptionally smooth, delicious flavor), and the sampler reloaded (tequenos were the highlight, everything else was ok). Entrees included the picanha (which lacked flavor, was very chewy, and unevenly cooked) and the Jalea rice (rice seasoned well, but the shrimp, calamari, and fish were coated in too much batter). The chicha venezolana is a mushy Arroz con leche (it wasn't chilled enough, the bottom was warm, the top was cold, and it had an off-putting consistency. Julian was a very polite waiter. The ambiance is nice, but the food quality is lacking.

Food was fantastic. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. Sat outside on the patio.
