Boca

I emailed Boca with my concerns about our experience a week ago and have not received a response. Have been to Sarasota location many times and always had great food and service. Went to Winter Park location last Tuesday 1/30/2024. Lunch was horrible. Soggy Flatbread looked like it had been passed under a broiler for about 30 seconds. "Grilled" romaine was over the hill on one side and again barely passed over a fire to "grill" it. Food took more than an hour to come out. Couldn't get refills on drinks. The good news is that there are lots of great places to eat in Winter Park. The bad news is this is not one of them.

Good food and service.

Not terrible, but disappointing. Fish and pork chop were tough. Shouldn’t need to saw grouper with a knife. Burger was good. Scallops were very good. Service was mediocre - took over an hour to get our entrees. Lobster wonton app was good but Brussels sprouts were undercooked and hard.

They lost our food ticket and after 40 min the server told us and asked for our order again. Something about changing from brunch menu to dinner and 3 tickets were lost. Then it was another 20 min. So we were there one hour seated, had a drink and appetizer, and several refills of water. When the food came out my fries were not ready yet. I really dont think it was the server’s fault. But he didnt offer a discount - we had to ask. He said yes and came back comping our drinks which was appreciated. I really think that situation falls on management. The food was good after all that but I had half the sandwich eaten before the fries arrived. #poorbackofhousemanagement

Food is garbage (limp fries. Heavy mayo on the fish dishes). The HH on Thursday (9$ Tito martinis) is the only reason to go. Eat before

Had dinner around 6:30 pm. Very busy ! John, our server, was wonderful ! Very knowledgeable and courteous. Other than it being quite loud ( a minor complaint), the food and the service was excellent. We would come back again.

Gnocchi was superb and our waitress was great.

They were out of short ribs which was 3 of the dishes on the menu which was disappointing. Our server was busy with a 10 top so it felt like we were on the back burner.
