Amazing place for good fresh and tasty seafoods Service needs a lot of improvement. The waitress served us bread, but no silverwares and we asked twice 5 minutes later she came with one set.

Excellent fried calamari! I also loved my shrimp taco and Manhattan clam chowder, soup was very tasty and hot. The taco had a nice kick to it with the green sauce. They also provide yummy sourdough bread.

This is a great place for Seafood! Try the Rainbow Trout Almandine... delicious . The only downside is that the Parking Lot is small and on Saturday Night it will be difficult to get a good spot. Also, it is highly recommended that if you plan to have a table on Saturday night make a reservation!! Bluewater Grill is located in the very stylish Carlsbad Village. An interesting side note is that the Coaster Railway Line is about 10 yards away so be prepared to hear the Train Whistle every time it passes through Carlsbad!! Dietary restrictions: Ask for the Sword Fish.... This is one of the very few Restaurants that have their own Boat to catch Sword Fish!! The menu shows the Sword Fish as Blackened with Chipotle Sauce....try it Sauteed in Butter with the White Rice!!
