Coffee was bad (hot but too acidic) pastry was stale, atmosphere was nice lots of tables but there were no outlets for charging devices. Staff was kind and helpful.

Their pastries are always stale. I get there early morning so I’m guessing the pastries are old.

Hello New Yorkers, This is my 2nd day in New York, and I can't wait to shop for a local coffee, who needs Starbucks in New York? I enjoy coffee shop hopping anytime during my time in New York. Bluestone Lane coffee shop pop up at my google map and I admit that I am charmed by the cleanliness, and color of blue and white. I am excited. after I got to the store, I soon realized Bluestone lane is another big chain coffee shop that's probably only available in New York City? (I did not dig more information about the company). there are 2 baristas doing the cashing, order taking and making coffee at the same time, while there are probably 10 customers waiting in line. as the clocking ticking, no.4 and no.7 customers decide to leave without the ordering, and No.10 customer looks very grumpy yet refused to leave the coffee shop. I am being No.11 (in case you didn't know) after a long wait, and seeing the cashier being nonchalant, I guess this is how this world goes. when I see No.10 customers tap harshly on "no tip" bottom, I feel clam and maybe I don't need coffee anymore. The latte is inject with strong and dark espresso that I enjoy, and I can definitely see the barista over heat the milk and become very foamy. Generally speaking, the chain store suppose to be fast, clean and good place to sit, but all I get is to see angry and inpatient customers. by the way, did I mention they have awesome almond croissants? The coffee here is extremely bitter. They also only offer half and half and cane sugar. No 18 percent cream/ heavy cream. Had to add cream at hotel. Wouldn't come back especially for the price $$$ Food looks good, service was good.

Always really slow for some reason. Not what you want before a Broadway show

I found this place while looking for a light brunch because I had plans for an early dinner. First of all, the coffee was a pretty good. The protein ball I ordered was... not enough contained protein than I expected. It was just a piece of salmon and an egg. The avocado and cheese tomato and spinach didn't look like protein to me. However, it was quite enough for a light bite. Actually, for 11.5$ it's not bad, but... There is public restroom,thx. It is also a quiet place.
