Fantastic cocktails, favorite is the vieux carre. Service is very attentive and quick. Does get very busy, but not packed; usually seating service only. Great setting for a date. They're really great at what they do, which is a nice cocktail bar, without the gimmicks or pretences of some of the "speakeasies" you can find. Still the best in the area.

My boyfriend and I were in here for Friday night happy hour. Staff were amazing and very kind, the vibe fancy and sexy but not pretentious at all. The bartender made me a Black Manhattan, off the menu, and it was so delicious and lovely. The hot toddy there was also very good. My new favorite bar!

Expresso martinis for the win.

Agree with others, this definitely gives speak easy vibes, but is actually well sized. The drinks are certainly more craft, we had the dear Julius and the lazurus effect which were incredible. I also ordered the squash and pepper bruschetta which wasn’t a personal favorite, but want to go back to try the meat and cheese boards! The service was great, everyone was super friendly and were attentive. Would highly recommend coming here!

I go here to chat with friends and overhear first dates who met on tinder. Some things I overheard: * Jack Kerouac is a genius author. - this is certain to make your date doomed because you're revealing that you're that you're pretentious yet only have the knowledge of a high school level English literature class * What kind of drinker are you? Wine or spirits? - just wait for her to order dude. You'll learn it in due time * Are you more liberal leaning? - it's Brooklyn you idiot Total first date vibes. Very entertaining. Also do not take a vegan here. They serve a rabbit pot pie.
